We are in advanced development with the UK Film Council and North West Vision + Media of a feature film based on the award-winning best-selling novel by RAY ROBINSON (Nominated for the James Tait Black Memorial Prize, America's most prestigious literary award. Script is by JOE FISHER (writer of SOUNDPROOF, BAFTA-winner in 2008) and the director is BRYN HIGGINS.
Spilsbury
We are also in advanced development on a 90' film for BBC FOUR, planned for production in 2010. SPILSBURY is a tense neo-noir CSI drama about one of the most infamous, double-edged characters in the history of crime: Sir Bernard Spilsbury, dubbed the 'father of forensics' and 'real Sherlock Holmes' who dominated grisly murder scenes and the High Courts for 30 years starting with the Crippen trial in 1910. The very mention of Spilsbury's name strikes fear into defence lawyers and their clients - he is a master of the crime scene and witness stand.

CASUALTY 1909 was Nominated for 2 awards at the ROYAL TELEVISION SOCIETY (Northwest) AWARDS. The categories were: Best Drama Series and Best Craft & Design. On the night we lost to Jimmy McGovern's THE STREET. Can't really complain about that since it was one of the finest pieces on modern British television!

CASUALTY 1909 returns to the London Hospital on the frontline in the teeming, dangerous, desperately poor East End. Revolution is in the air. The world is changing fast. Anarchists are suspected of bombings and outrages, Suffragettes are violently protesting, the hospital itself is under attack from animal rights activists. Fear and suspicion grip the streets, making life harder than ever for the over-taxed nurses and doctors.
